VERSAWRAP® Column Wraps

When thinking about the challenging parts of a home install or remodel, wrapping a structural post is almost always a difficult task. VERSATEX’s field-focused team set out to help the builder save time and money in the most efficient way possible. The solution is the VERSAWRAP, a one-piece post wrap that makes dressing up a column easier than ever before. VERSATEX sheet product with pre-mitered grooves and an interlocking friction-fit joint creates effortless alignment and a higher aesthetic value than matching up four individual pieces. When it comes to a lally column, support beams, front porch posts or anything in between, wrapping posts can now be a one-man install with a nicer end product than ever before.

The VERSAWRAP line includes one-piece Classic and Raised Panel designs with multiple accessories available and a pre-cut, four-piece Tapered design that includes Craftsman-style accessories.
VERSATEXs four-piece Tapered column wrap provides the same convenience of the onepiece VERSAWRAP for craftsman-style projects. Four pre-cut panels each have a friction-fit miter lock joint to eliminate calculations and cuts required to ensure the right angle for each panel. Fastening angles and 3 1/2″ decorative accent wrap pieces are included with the wrap for the cap and base of each Tapered column to fasten and accessorize however the project allows, offering a craftsman aesthetic that installs quickly and easily.
VERSATEX offers all the accessories one needs to take their project to the next level. Base Cap, Bed Moulding and 4″ Crown Moulding kits are all available, while Bed Moulding and 4″ Crown Moulding XL kits are available to dress up accent wraps made from actual 1/2″ VERSATEX. All accessories are pre-mitered, cut to length and ready for an easy assembly and a snug fit around a 4″, 6″ or 8″ VERSAWRAP. Post Caps are also available for 4″, 6″ and 8″ VERSAWRAPs. One-Piece VERSAWRAP

The Classic and Raised Panel column wrap styles are created from a single piece of VERSATEX cellular PVC with three pre-mitered grooves that fold around the structural post and lock together with a friction-fit lockmiter joint. Just apply your PVC glue, fold the VERSAWRAP around your structural column, secure in place, peel the tape, and walk away.

  • Special 10″ Classic column wraps available (minimum quantities apply)
  • Raised Panels start 16 1/2″ from the bottom with a railing gap from 30 3/4″ to 38 1/2″.
  • Clearance above the top panel measures 8 3/4″.
  • For best aesthetic results in Raised Panel column wrap applications, painting is recommended to prevent dirt accumulation where panel is milled into product.

Four-Piece Tapered VERSAWRAP

Our four-piece Tapered column wrap provides the same convenience of the one-piece VERSAWRAP for a craftsman style project. Four pre-cut panels each have friction-fit miter lock joints to eliminate the calculations and cuts required to ensure the right angle for each panel.
Each Tapered column wrap includes squaring corners for fastening and 3 1/2″ optional decorative skirt accessories.
