CHVG solid WRC segments are assembled through a high-tech process to create virtually invisible, precision fitted “finger” joints that are actually stronger and more weather resistant than the surrounding wood. Under controlled conditions, the optimum thickness of primer is applied to all six sides of the cedar siding. This is rarely achieved when boards are coated on the job site. Pressure rollers and high speed brushes drive the coating deep into the wood fibers. Afterwards, the Bevel in a Box wood siding is dried in a temperature controlled drying room to ensure complete curing of the prime coat. This technology is your assurance of long lasting performance and versatility as the primed siding can be installed with the smooth or rough face exposed. It could be the last siding your home will ever need.
Bevel in a Box cedar siding cuts your installed siding costs to a minimum. Bevel in a Box’s stain-blocking alkyd oil primer is compatible with oil or latex based topcoats (many of which offer multi-year warranties). For optimum performance apply two coats of a top quality 100% acrylic topcoat as soon as possible but within one year from the date of installation. Always prime end and rip cuts during the installation process.
