What makes SBS OneSource stand out is our unique team approach to sales. We create a dedicated group of specialized salespeople who work with you on each aspect of your project. Every builder is assigned two teams here: one for the exterior and one for the interior portion of the project, with each team focusing only on their specific area of expertise. Such an approach not only allows the salespeople to become experts in their particular lane but also allows them to get to know your businesses preferences and practices.
This enables them to participate as an extension of your company, the goal of which is to make your job easier. In addition to separating interior and exterior, we then break it down further into a road salesperson and an inside salesperson. The main focus of the road salesperson is to do field measuring, sales calls and address issues on the job. The inside salesperson focuses on sourcing, quoting, ordering and executing each request. In addition to our interior and exterior material teams, we have a great group of salespeople focused completely on architectural windows and doors. This team consists of experienced professionals that specialize in our exclusive window and door products as well as their specific territories. As a customer of SBS, you’ll always have someone to reach out to for a specific question and our teams are constantly working together to provide you with accurate, efficient and reliable service. The SBS OneSource Story
President and Owner Chris Dias started Specialty Builders’ Supply in 2001 in Brewster, MA as a supplier of exterior products for the home building industry on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard. Chris was the only employee. Fast forward 24 years later to 2025, where from the original office and warehouse space in Brewster, SBS OneSource has expanded to include two full-service Contractor Lumber Yards in Harwich and Vineyard Haven, an extremely unique Window and Door Showroom in Pembroke, and to a and new headquarters and Window and Door Showroom in Harwich. SBS OneSource was born out of a focus on providing architects with industry leading products to specify and providing builders the flexibility and support that they need from a supplier. From the original office and warehouse space in Brewster, SBS has expanded to include an extremely unique Window and Door Showroom in Pembroke to a full-service Lumber Yard in Vineyard Haven and new headquarters and Window and Door Showroom in Harwich. Architectural products that builders appreciate all supported by a team of over 50 gifted professionals who cover not only the Cape and the Vineyard but most of MA with a wide range of home building products that include many exclusive window and door lines.
The strength of SBS is the unique personnel who execute the “Say Yes” mantra. In the Window and Door Division, Marc Lima is one of the most detail oriented fenestration experts you could find. He has intimate knowledge of the Martha’s Vineyard market and wears his total commitment to customer satisfaction on his sleeve. Freddy Maguire is a well-seasoned 25+ year window & door salesperson who can properly identify the correct product for any type of project and make it happen. Narcisa Lazic has broken all SBS records for success in a short time frame. Her easy and friendly demeanor with her keen sense of understanding products and projects helps her to quickly develop trust and confidence and then she delivers. Add to this Christine Ayotte, who’s experience in the housing sector and attention to detail is invaluable, industry veteran Craig Fischer, who brings a wealth of experience specifying windows and doors for over 20 years for a national brand, and Ken Michaels, whose experience as a builder allows him to speak and understand the lingo with ease.
